Arrive as strangers, leave as a caravan that has shared plov, trains and sunsets over Khiva. Tashkent, Khiva, Bukhara and Samarkand in a small group on fixed dates, with everything arranged for you.
Our signature group journey covers the four cities every first-time visitor dreams of, in just eight days. You fly from Tashkent to the desert oasis of Khiva, walk the alleys of its walled Ichan-Kala, cross the Kyzylkum by train to Bukhara and finish among the turquoise domes of Samarkand, returning to the capital on the Afrosiyob high-speed train.
Groups are small, at most sixteen travellers from around the world, and every departure is guaranteed: even if you are the only one booked, the tour goes ahead. Local guides lead the sightseeing in each city, and from eight travellers a TourEast tour leader stays with the group throughout.
We have added a few things of our own: a local SIM card waiting for you on arrival, a sunset tea on a Bukhara rooftop facing the Kalyan Minaret, and a group chat with your guide from the day you book, so questions get answered before you even land.
